Don’t forget the Mermaid Ball tomorrow, at the Willowbend Country Club in Mashpee. Hey, if you can’t come, you can always toss a few bucks in their direction to help rehabilitate marine life!

Yesterday was a good work day. Yoga was good, made banana bread, have the ghostwriting draft nearly finished — just have one question, and I can send it off. Got out requests for interview quotes, and interview questions for a guest on my blog. Finished the wrap for the Ball tomorrow. Drove to Buzzards Bay, and we had our final meeting before we set up tomorrow. Loaded up my car with stuff to bring over the bridge last night, and just take to the location tomorrow morning.

Up early today, yoga, meditation, out on the deck with coffee and Tessa. Watered everything — we haven’t had rain in a few days, so it needed it. My rose of Sharon is blooming — it’s lovely! Got some writing done.

A terrific opportunity landed on my desk late last night, but has to be turned around in just a few days. I have to see if I can step up to the plate — it would open a lot of doors for me, so I don’t want to let it slip through my fingers. At the same time, I’ve got a lot going on.

My second load of laundry is in the washer, the first load drying. I’m cleaning the house top-to-bottom today — vacuuming, washing floors, scrubbing counters and bathrooms, etc. Serious fall cleaning will start after Labor Day, but I need to do a bit more than regular maintenance today.

I’ve got a couple of proposals to knock out later, and get the ghostwriting project out the door. Have some errands to run for the Ball. Should be a busy, but happy day!

Have a great weekend, all — and come dance for Marine Life!
