Waning Moon
Saturn Retrograde
Pluto Retrograde
Cloudy and warm

Yesterday was a gorgeous day. I had fun in CT, although it wasn’t as peaceful as I wanted, due to construction noise in the area. Ick.

But I got some writing done, I started the project for Confidential Job #1, and I read Icelandic author Arnaldur Indridson’s novel Silence of the Grave, which was both sad and fascinating. Yes, I’m aware the “d” in his name should be crossed like a “t”, but I can’t make this computer do it. I like his work, a lot, and I’m glad it’s available in English. Because I can read road signs in Icelandic and figure them out, but that’s pretty much it.

I also got the chance to do a meditation sit outside in the warm sunshine (while the construction people were on their lunch hour and it was relatively quiet).

Got some writing done this morning. Need to catch up from playing hooky and get some business correspondence out and sort out the coming week. I also need to get out some submissions today.

The morning glory vines are tall enough to need a trellis; the moonflower is still tiny (and, so far, only one came up); the tomato plants are doing pretty well; the spearmint still hasn’t come up, and I’m starting to think it won’t.

Nothing earth shattering to report. There are some glimmers of interesting opportunities on the horizon, but until they are more solid, I don’t want to jinx them by mentioning them too early.
