Waxing Moon
Neptune Retrograde
Cloudy and cold

They had a foot of snow up in the Catskills yesterday, and we might get some today.

I’m a guest on Wild on Books today. Please stop by and leave a comment!

Today is my mother’s 84th birthday. Happy birthday to her! If I ever turn out to be one-twentieth of the person she is, I will have done well.

Yesterday was an icky day, with snow in the surrounding areas, but just cold, driving rain here.

I had errands to run, of course. And, in general, I was battling a case of the blues. So that wasn’t fun. Sometimes you get those days, the frustrating, blue ones. You push through and it gets better. Having hellish computer problems all day (thank you so much, damned Microsoft) didn’t help.

I joined a new group, Infinite Worlds of Fantasy, and spent a long time uploading information to their site. I’ll post their banner, etc., on my sites soon. It seems like they offer a lot of fun opportunities for both writers and readers.

I ‘m starting my day similar to a Nano day – first writing session of the day, then I sent out a Nano-mail to the N3s, now I’m blogging. Might as well get back into the rhythm.

I’m working on “The Ramsey Chase”, the Cornelia True/Roman Gray story that I hope to have ready by next week. These characters make me laugh.

And I’ve got a stack of other things to get done today, including an interview with Writing the Dark.

Three days until Nano. I can hardly believe it. I’m kind of excited, if I do say so myself.

  1. Happy Birtdhay to your mother! Here’s lots of wishes for good health and happiness!

(Okay, that sounded like a corny birthday card, but it was sincere!)

I am starting to get into NaNo mode, as well. I have to train myself to be awake at 5am, so I can get that hour and a half in before I have to wake up the kids for school. I bet you’re up earlier!

Hope today is a NON blues day! Bundle up! XOXOXO

  2. Happy Birthday Devon’s Mum!!

Good luck when NaNo starts – I’ll join up with you next week 🙂

  3. Hello Devon!

The weather here in Ohio is cold and dreary! My mother celebrated her 73rd earlier this month, so– All Good Wishes and Blessings, to yours.

And, thank you for your recent posts!

I’ve not tried acupunture, and am a tad bit leary of yoga only because physical therapy aggrevated one of my discs and OA.

I do have one of those massage chairs that helps– when I set my butt in it. (~:

Have a great day! I hope the PC troubles subside. And see you at NaNo…….

  4. Snow? ::shiver::

Hope today is NOT blue. I think we all get those days.

Sorry on the computer woes, but yay on finding the new group. And getting into the NaNo groove early can’t hurt.

I think I’m out for NaNo this year. ::sigh::

  5. Happy birthday to your mother!

I hate those blue days…but you’re right. You just push through them and things look better. 🙂

  6. Happy Birhtday to Devon’s Mom!
You can send the snow here, believe it or not we really wouldn’t mind.
I hope you’re having a better day today. HUGS!

  7. Happy Birthday to your Mom! And I hope the blue has lifted but I know those kinds of days well! d:)
