Waning Moon
Pluto Retrograde
Jupiter Retrograde
Sunny and cold

“Expect to evacuate.”

That’s what we’re being told about the nor’easter expected to hit this area over the weekend.

Remember the flood photos from last month?

This is supposed to be worse.

Of course, right now, it’s sunny, not a cloud in the sky, and the birds are singing.

I’m stocking up on supplies, going out for some more stuff this morning, preparing foods that will keep, boiling water, etc., etc.

Moving the car to higher ground.

And hoping for the best.

Devon

  1. We had terribly storms here last night. I hope you’re okay!

  2. *hugs* You guys are in my prayers.

  3. HOLY CRAP! When will this all stop? I’m glad you’re getting plenty of warning, at least. And yes, get your baby to higher ground, for sure!

I hope it isn’t as bad as it sounds. Good luck! You’re in my thoughts!
ps–I’m making your blueberry scones today–Hubby is excited!
    🙂

  4. Please be careful and take care of yourself and your fur-babies.
I’m sending good thoughts and hope your new care will be okay!

  5. Here on Canada’s east coast, we generally joke that summer doesn’t really start until July, but we haven’t had snow for Easter weekend before this year. And now this weekend we’ve had a little of this, a little of that. Currently it’s spitting rain. I wish you only little drops and no flooding.

  6. We were threatened with snow here in Kansas City. Tomorrow is suppose to be sunny and 63.

Best weather wishes to you and yours!

    Be Safe!

  7. Thinking of you – boy, what a mess! Hope it is not so bad.

  8. Prayers up for you, Devon. I hope the brunt misses you. Meanwhile, we’re preparing for the same. :((

  9. Hi Devon
Thanks for opening up the discussion about ghostrwiting in your guest post at FWJ.

I have followed the conversations around the writing blogs on this topic, and have written a post about it on my blog.

If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t have learned so much about the various apspects and perspectives on ghostwriting in such a short time. Thanks for your insights – much appreciated.
