March 4 — Post Flood

Power finally back on. We’re okay, for the most part, although the car’s a loss. But, as far as we know, no one was killed — although 34 people were rescued in my neighborhood.

I will post details on Monday or Tuesday, along with photos of the devastation. Right now, I need some sleep.

Heat and hot water will still be off for a few days, and we’re boiling the water, because the source was contaminated.

I only lost my car — several families in the building, on the lower floors, lost everything.

And, we rescued at cat.

More to follow.
